Hi, I’m Nelson Rivera, founder of Kitty and Friends Care.
I started this business to provide the high-quality pet care that every pet—and pet owner—deserves here in Northern Virginia. With over 10 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and 4 years working in pet daycare, I bring both skill and deep compassion to the work I do.
Born and raised in NOVA, I studied animal science in Arlington, VA. My wife, Rachel, and I are proud cat parents to two beloved felines: Samson, our tuxedo cat, and Cheeto, our orange tabby.
I’m Red Cross certified in cat and dog CPR, as well as adult and pediatric CPR, ensuring safety is always a priority.
At Kitty and Friends Care, we strive to deliver professional, reliable services—from cat care to dog walking—and I truly appreciate your trust and support.
